Freefall

A game inspired by Downwell and Ori, Freefall was a class project made by 3 students in under 3 weeks. The theme for this project was 'casual'. 

In Freefall you play as a cat as it falls to the center of the earth. Use a time slow ability to shoot obstacles in your path. Each obstacle you hit increases your high score and score modifier. Be careful though as you can quickly go through your nine lives if you get hit. At any point you can use your modifier to quickly fill up your missing lives. 

We did this to add an element of strategy to encourage players to push their luck and try to get the highest score possible. It also uses modular level pieces so that each playthrough is randomized and unique.
